About The Role

A great position for someone who wants progress and gains experience & training in sales and or marketing. As the Customer Service Representative at Ortech Industries, it is your responsibility to assess and fulfil customer needs by exerting a great deal of product knowledge, empathy and professionalism. You are people-orientated and adaptable, with outstanding problem-solving skills. Being a constant point of contact for customers, you have the opportunity to create and/or completely transform a customer’s experience with our company. For this reason, it is integral that you are friendly and well-informed in your approach.


• Managing incoming calls and customer enquiries.
• Managing social media account and responding to enquiries.
• Communicating with customers on the status of their orders and expected dispatch date.
• Working with transport & production team to coordinate successful deliveries.
• Handle customer complaints provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; following up to ensure resolution.
• Creating purchase orders, sales orders & quotes for the sales team and scheduling production orders.
• General administration and other ad hoc duties.

Essential Skills & Attributes

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence on the phone.
• Data entry knowledge & computer skills incl. Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively.
• Ability to retain and recall important information.
• Capacity to work independently and proactively.
• High aptitude for following communication guidelines, procedures and policies.
